
How to create new filesystem on ODA server?.
Creating ext4 Filesystem on Oracle Database Appliance(ODA)
To create new filesystem and mount we need root credentials.
Connect as a root user .
run df -h command before creating FS.

This mount is temporary , once server is rebooted it will go off.
To make it permanent ,follow below steps.
run the blkid command to get the UUID value of the new FS

/dev/mapper/VolGroupSys-optNWLV1: LABEL="optNWLV1" UUID="9c79364e-99e1-42a8-ada1-86c31ad1fa76" TYPE="ext4"
Note : Add the above entry in /etc/fstab.
So take backup of /etc/fstab before edit the file.
